AUG	1996	U 1 7	Use the chart to find a Player's Birth Month and it shows their Age Bracket i.e. If a player was born in January 2000, they are U14 for the 2013/2014 Soccer Year "U14" means the player is 'Under (less than) 14 years old' at the beginning of the seasonal soccer year (which runs Sept-Aug) U10 Players may only play on a U10 or U11* Travel Team. U09 Players may only play on a U09 or U10 Travel Team. U08 Players may only play on a U08, U09, or U10 Travel Team. U07 Players may only play on a U08** Travel Team. U06 and younger children may not play on a Travel Soccer team. * U11 teams must maintain a majority (50% +1) of U11 players for the entire soccer year (Sept-Aug). ** U08 teams must maintain a majority (50% +1) of U08 players for the entire soccer year (Sept-Aug).
