Establishing Game dates/venues

• After the draw (and each additional round) the 2 teams PRIMARY CONTACTS need to come to agreement on a date, time, and venue.

• This agreement must be sent via EMAIL to ERNIE ZAVALA and ROB CAFASSO.

• Ernie will work with the appropriate referee assignor to cover every game.

• The home team is responsible for making sure with THEIR field scheduler that the venue is available at the agreed time BEFORE offering the date and time.

• ERNIE must receive the email at least 3 days in advance of the proposed game time.
  
   

Competition rules

All MCYSA regular season rules for the age group are in effect with the exceptions noted below
Assume 3-man referee crew and plan to pay the 3-man referee fee
NO secondary players are allowed to play in these matches
Your roster may have secondary players but they cannot participate in your League Cup matches
If the match is tied after regulation
Winner is determined by kicks from the mark
Alternating shots best of 5
Alternating shots best of 1 if tied after 5
All shooters come from players on the field at end of regulation
Player may not take a second attempt unless all others have as well.
Referee determines which goal will be used for the kicks BEFORE the match begins

Cards within this competition will not effect other competitions.
Referees do not retain player passes after player send offs
All financial and suspension penalty policies of MCYSA may be applied within the League Cup as well..
 

Important Dates

• Application deadline date is 04/05 and draw will be 04/06

• First round must be completed by 04/20

• Second round must be completed no later than 05/04

• Third round must be completed by 05/18

• Finals will be held on 06/01 in one location
